Amazing.

Thank you. So much.

So many of these Clockday movies are just carp and only remain kicking around because of the "5555555555555555555555" tradition... but this was actually better than good. By a lot.

Happy Clockday to ye!

You're welcome. Glad you liked it.

Would you like some plunderberry crumble? NO!1 >:(

There's a touch of humor in this, which is good. It wasn't quite as stressful to watch as Roof Tiling, either. However, while the style is decent overall, some bits -- i.e. the random and sometimes meaningless static flashes -- could be improved. For example, the transition between the violent sequences could warrant frequent flashing, while a flash simply for a change of zoom in the POV shot from the roof to the garden is a bit extraneous. Play up Jonathan's grinding mental conflict a bit more, rather than just showing the effects of it as part of the big picture. That's all...

A few suggestions.

Solid idea, but this could use a little improvement. There is a _lot_ of empty space in the beginning of the movie, and Mario is really tiny. A little zooming here and there might help you. Also: clean up the sprite when you resize it--not all the pixels were square/rectangular, which was kind of ugly.

Essentially, just play it up a bit more and it will be a much better Flash. For now, though, it's not bad, but it's not super, either.

Can't believe I'm rating this high...

Okay. I've seen movies like this before, what with the miscellaneous line moving around the screen. The entire style is boring. Thus, you have really low style points--they're a little higher than they would be because there were some very original transitions that I hadn't seen before. The graphics were a little better than most of this kind of Flash, I'll give you that. Your interactivity... the "custom cursors" section made it hard to figure out where the mouse was, and you couldn't get back to the main menu... which kind of defeats the purpose of interactivity. But what really saved you here was sound--the music went really well with the movie, except maybe for the bit at the end. Overall: decent, but don't leave your skill at this level.

Nice

First off, extra credit for a unique preloader. Quite hot.

Even though the graphics probably could have used a lot of work, and this was kind of run-of-the-mill in terms oof first submissions, it's better than a lot of stuff I've seen. The highlight is definitely your dancing flame... that's some good quality stuff. This could definitely use some improvement, but not in a bad way. It's pretty good as it is.

A few pointers...

This was a decent Flash, I guess. One thing that really bothered me, though, was that you could really see the Photoshop in it. >_< I'd suggest redrawing the simpler graphics in Flash so they don't look quite that way. It also moved somewhat slowly--perhaps if you stylized it a little more, or changed camera angles more often (i.e. the chat between the villain and his assistant was rather monotonous) it would be better. One perfect scene, though, was the newscast. That was quite good. I also really appreciated your voice acting, which was excellent--resulting in the 9 on sound. That's pretty much it... just improve the graphics and story progression a bit, make it a little more engaging, and you've got some quality work. Until then, though, I'm going to have to deal you a lower score than I would otherwise give.

Awesome.

Second-hand smoking causes babys to explode.

:D

Awesome.

The fact that this was a collab made it even better... I really loved all the various instant-death scenes. The humor was creative, overall the graphics were decent... yeah. After watching a bunch of blamworthy Flashes, this was quite the freshmaker.

Err...

It really doesn't matter to me if it was traced, but you might want to antialias the lines so they don't shake so much. Also, the transitions KILLED your rating. I'm sorry, but you really need to find a different way to switch yer scenes. The sound was okay, decent quality, but you might want to make it something more... relevant to the subject? It just doesn't sound like skateboarding music, heh. :)

Overall, not bad. Needs improvement though.

Decent.

First off, I want to comment on the film effect. Excellent--the dots all over the place were great. Having watched a lot of old films, though, the realism could be improved by putting the lines in the same general area; lines are made when the film gets scratched, and generally, this happens in the same area of a certain set of frames, because they're all getting scratched in the same place, at the same time. As far as your characters and your silent-film cards, I'd say a little more antialiasing could work for ye, a little more creativity with the animation as well. The sound didn't quite fit, but it didn't take away, either.

Whoa, and this is a first submission? Nice job, man!

Could use some improvement.

Graphics seemed okay, but the skater figure looked like he was done in MS Paint--not super quality by any stretch of the imagination. Sound was also fuzzy, and the skateboard sounds were really repetetive. Speaking of repetition, you saw the same few scenes over and over again.

Basically, it could use some work. Improve the skater graphic, rework the sound a bit, and add a bit more to it... that's really all I can say.
